Something I made for the Newbie KITH over on that other forum;) 1075. stainless and curly maple.

Joe, I thought you just destroyed steel by hitting it with a hammer? You did a great job on that one.
Now I have graduated to seeing if i can slice off various and sundry appendages while finishing knives:eek:

I would think that would be pretty easy thing to learn. I bet I could do it first try.

This particular one has gotten me twice....once in the webbing between my left thumb and forefinger and once on my right index finger:mad: This thing is cursed like the Hope diamond. I hate to think what it is going to do to the guy who draws my name in the KITH:D

I like the handle design, the half guard and blade shape very much, I could own one of those easily myself.

Looks like a very usable knife

This is the pattern I have pretty much settled on for hunters. This one turned out a bit better, but miles to go:D The blade shape is kind of a modified Fisk pattern with a bit of drop and a slanted choil instead of the "butterfly". The handle is more like a smaller version of what the Arkansas guys would put on a bowie or fighter. As far as owning one, give me a couple of more tries and we'll talk.....lol
