Those of you participating in the two KITHs should be well along the way in getting your knives done. You should try and have it done by mid-November. The absolute deadline for having it finished and in a box ,ready to ship ,is December 1, 2011.

The photo threads will be up in two weeks.

IF you are still in the planning stages, it is time to get busy.

I believe I'm still on target to complete and box by December 1. My chief concern now is the sheath and presentation box. I'm fairly confident I could complete a simple sheath, but not one that rises to the level of the knife. I have no experience making presentation boxes, and no plans for how it would be done. Also, I do have some travel planned for early November, so I might be cutting it close one the sheath/box.

I am close to my schedule, I should be sending it out for HT on Monday. I still have a bit of sanding to do, but I have all day today and tomorrow. I plan on express posting it to Rob so in the roughly 1 week turn around I can get the last few things I need to get done around here that aren't knife related opening my time up to dedicate all my time to finish up.

I'm right on schedule for now. Blade got to Rob's yesterday, so I should have it back in 1-2 weeks. Leaving me with a little under a month to finish it all up

Greg,
No need for a special presentation box, unless you want one. They are available from many suppliers for a very reasonable price. take a look at Jantz's cases:

A dagger rarely is belt carried, so a simple blade cover sheath will work to protect the blade in shipping and transport. The knife will spend most of its time in the display box with no sheath on it.

Thanks, Stacy! That's a load off my mind.
