Kiwi 4 vs. Gayle Bradley Air

Thinking about picking up one of these folders, but kind of stuck trying to decide. Any opinions you'd like to share would be welcome as well as pics - especially if you have comparison pics of the two or of one of the two with other spydercos - especially delica, meerkat, dragonfly, techno since I have those in my collection already.

Thanks in advance!

The Air is nice with the M4 blade but it is very small.
Also has no pocket clip.
The Kiwi 4 is a bit bigger, thicker blade, has a clip, cheaper, and a thin FFG VG-10 blade is no slouch. I'd try to find one on the secondary market at an even better price.

I had the same question, and decided on the Kiwi 4. I am real happy with the Kiwi 4. I just thought the Air would be too small. Good luck on your decision.

Air is elegant and great little cutting machine. Kiwi4 was in my opinion overpriced when released but I found one at a dealer recently for $100 shipped.

I would pick up the Air without a second thought. I haven't handled a kiwi 4 but I recently sold my old smaller stainless kiwi, and I've had many Japanese g10 lockbacks. I liked them all, but g10 lockbacks are 'pedestrian' and the kiwi was a great collection piece but that grip (while effective) didn't call out to me to use as my only knife. I think the Air is going to feel like the nicer knife. It's also fun to open/ close and has a gadgety quality.

The Air's roughly the same size and weight as an FRN Dragonfly but the cutting edge is closer to that of a Delica (according to the catalog Dfly is 48mm, Air is 60mm, Delica is 65mm.) For some reason that info for the kiwi 4 is unavailable right now.

Don't have an Air, but these should give you an idea of the relative sizes of the Kiwi 4 and Delica 4.

I have yet to try out the Air but the kiwi certainly a great piece. Light in the pocket and decent grip.

Do what I did, bet both! The Air is a smaller, more refined gentlemans knife, and the Kiwi 4 is a larger, basic user EDC, the size of a Delica. More of a beater.

The air is on my want list, the kiwi4 is not, I would try to pick up a used air on the exchange.
