I gave my dad a kiwi a few months ago, the SS, after he had seen the passaroung that i had participated in, commenting that it was a nice knife. Well, it's still going strong, with only one sharpening, which I did. He uses ot to open boxes, envelopes, strip wire ( we pulled wire for a generator this weekend) , and all kinds of "hard use" things. Thought someone might want to know.
