I just got a new bone Kiwi and I love it! I noticed that the tip is ever so slightly curved upward while the rest of the ege is straight. Is this normal or should I send it to Spyderco for repair?
Thanks :D

What do you mean curved upward?
If it is curved forward, consider this a blessing, because it's always the tips on my knives that get messed up first. YMMV

I don't know about repair, then. All they could really do is grind the whole knife down, If it really bothers you, you might want to inquire about a refund.
I know this doesn't help much, but I did the best I could. sorry.

Does this turned up tip keep the knife from functioning? Does it's tip keep you from using the knife? That is what I would ask my self, but if the knife functioned right I would'nt worry about it. If it really bugs you based on just looks, try exchanging it with the dealer you bought it from.

FWIW, the bottom edge, the sharpened one, on my bone-scaled Kiwi is straight as a die and I prefer it that way as it allows me to do very picky work with the point. :)

I guess I'll just leave it alone. It's not that bad i guess. Maybe it will go away after time with sharpening.
