Kizer Cucchiara Mini Dorado (Ki3455A1) in stock at BladeHQ for $250.00.

3" blade of M390 that's 0.12 thick and weighs 3.51 ounces.

Have you had this in hand yet? I saw this pop up on blade hq last night and I nearly wet myself with glee. My issue with the regular version was that it was 1/4 inch too big but the ergonomics were effing perfect. I am really curious to see how the shape translates to the smaller size.

Just when you thought Kizer had turned up to 10...

they go to "11" :D

Hope there's a matching Flashbang in the works!

Just in case everyone is not aware, Kizer - just like Zero Tolerance (another Chinese owned company) - sets a minimum selling price so there is no rabid discounting by the big players in the market trying to kill off the smaller dealers.

I really like all three of the new "minis" from Kizer but the price seems out of whack. This is ZT/Spyderco pricing for a knife that doesn't come with the warranty and support that those companies offer. I really like a 3" blade for office carry but not enough to spring at this price. I've been a big Kizer fan for the quality offered for the price paid. I'm sure the quality is there, but the value is missing.

Ummm...I don't think this is the case. Kizer has an MSRP but they don't enforce MAP pricing. There are lots of places on the intertubes where you can find Kizer's at significant discounts over places like BladeHQ or KC. Also, KAI is a Japanese company, not Chinese.

The Mini Dorado also comes with an embellished handle featuring Matt's large skull profile.

It's great to see 3 new 3" blade flippers from Kizer. Even though it has M390 and machined titanium clip I also think $250 is a bit much. I think $200-$220 would be better. Remember Gemini Titanium with S35VN and titanium clip is $170.

Ram, is this a BHQ exclusive or will they be popping up elsewhere? I'm hoping I can find one at a better price.

I don't know if these are BladeHQ exclusives but I think not only because BladeHQ has not said that they're exclusive to them. I too would like to see these at lower prices.
