Anyone have experience dealing with Kizer directly re. a quality issue? I contacted them via email a couple of days ago and have not heard back. My first email to Service at Kizer (from their website) was bounced back stating no such address exists at Kizer. I purchased a Kizer Corto from BladeHQ in Jan. and being a noob did not know that blade centering was something to look for until I spent some time on this site. The blade is way off center but does not rub. Any input would be appreciated.

The Kizer "office team" was in Germany for the IWA show for the last week and will be back in business in a few days.
When your blade is way of center I assume the pivot has come loose a bit. Try tightening it a bit (just so tight that the blade still moves smoothly). Use a Torx T9 size bit!

I have the pivot screw loose enough to achieve the action I want on the knife. Tightening does center it but then it's stiffer than I like. Is this a common trade off on a frame lock and is there manufacturing variances that would make one Corto (for example) better centered with the looser release than another? My pivot screw is pretty much "finger loose" to get the flipping where I like it. Maybe I should be exercising my thumb and working on technique?
Thanks for your input.

It is pretty common on most non-ball bearing knives like this Corto to have a little stiffer action when new. This will improve in time.

Thanks for your help Mesenzo; I'm coming to that noob realization that there is much I need to learn. My initial observation was that my other knives don't do this but on closer examination I see I own mostly liner locks, spring assisted Kershaws and PM2 and Dragonfly 2 which have their own locking system. My only other knife with a "traditional" frame lock would be my Zieba/ Shinola collaboration, which works like a dream and is perfectly centered, but also cost at least double of anything else I own (XMass gift from my wife!).

They got back to me after contacting them through their Facebook page.
