I am set for larger knives so the 2 small ones have my eye. The Salient is intriguing though.

Here in CT I can carry a fixed blade under 4 inches, so I have a weakness for FB knives that are JUST under 4 inches since can carry the max allowed without running afoul of the po-po. That 1021A1 and the 1021A2 look perfect....

I went with the sealion when I remembered I already had a T1 folding knife that looks a lot like the task 2. I am not disappointed. The Kydex came a little tight but a minute with a blowdryer fixed that. The knife is a good size and shape. It's not too bulky and big enough to be useful.

So, I bought the TaskII as well. Love it. It is a little bigger than the T1 and feels even better in hand. I like both.

Patiently waiting on my Task2 to deliver. Very interested in this one. Any photos or additional thoughts?

The task 2 and the sealion... But it seems like I can't really find them in Europe / Germany.

I like the design of the T2. It doesn’t have jimping (sp?) on the spine like some of my smaller fixed blades. Other than that, I have no issues. It is a great size for carry. Not too small, not burdensome. The sheath fits the knife well.

A T2 delivered here yesterday. Heavy for the size and feels great in hand. Really surprised how slicely it is for the blade stock thickness.

Will get a photo posted later to show what I'm attempting to describe here. Most of my smaller fixed blades can stand on edge blade facing down. This knife cannot because of a gradual arc curve from the tip to back of the handle. It's not a negative, rather allows more of the blade to contact a flat cutting surface (plate, board, table...) than I'm used to in a small blade. Very utilitarian design IMO.

It's on my workbench this morning for a custom pancake sheath.

Very, very pleased with the T2. It's been everywhere with me this week. A good EDC companion out, in the woods, and in the kitchen.

The sheath took longer than expected waiting for some additional hardware. It can be carried traditional or scout by rotating the tek lok mounting position on the back plate. The drain hole grooves follow the curvature of the handle and blade.

What fixed blade was added?

Edit: nvmd. Saw the catalog.

Pinkerton lancer and littler Bowie. Garza. And some others. I’m looking for more edc horizontal carry size knives. Think Izula, Spyderco street beat, Bradfordford Guardian 3, etc. the T2 and sealion are pretty good bur I’d be down for some more.

Got a T2 recently and really liking it, I believe it is comparable in size to that of the Bradford Guardian 3.

The T2 is just over an inch larger than the G3 and a half inch larger than the G3.5. Here's it with the G4.
