I was just browsing Instagram and came across these. Kizer is collaborating with Matt Cucchiara to release His Dorado and Flashbang designs. I haven't really warmed up to any of Kizers designs so far. At least not enough to purchase...but these look like a game changer, full titanium frame lock, S35VN steel, and they retail at about $200. It's going to be a preliminary run of 150 of each variation (there are four). Release is set for February.

(There's also a carved version of the Flashbang, not pictured.)

Based on the quality of all 3 of my Kizer Cutlery knives, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

So this is like a mix of ZT and Boker collabs it seems. The quality of the ZT collabs with the identical variant nature of the Boker collabs. Interesting.

Looks good, Kizer is really doing nice designs and collaborations.

I am very pleased with the three I have.

Thanks for the kind remarks guys and thanks for starting the thread 9blades. Im so excited to see these being made and Kizer kept me involved in every detail so they came out just the way I wanted them! I have been talking with Kizer at shows for the last couple of years, they are really committed to making a great knife, not copying other makers work and making a great product for the money. I was reluctant at first but now that we know the whole truth with the Britton deal I am more than happy to work with this company.Lets not beat a dead horse here, I dont know Tim and have never met him though it looks like he is even working with Kizer again selling a new model in the ad he runs in recent blade mags so I think that is all past? These four versions of my Dorado and Flashbang designs are just the start too! Keep an eye out for a full line of quality knives based on my designs including my new Thumbper neck knives and my F-Bomb pocket tool/money clips as well as several more flipper folder designs in different sizes. If your going to the SHOT show come see me in the Kizer booth!
Thanks again!
Matt
