Kizer pivot tool

I have a few older Kizers with a unique pivot and no way to maintain them. Anyone know of a special tool out there that can be used on this pivot?
Kizer support was absolutely no help.
I reached out to a fellow knife enthusiast who made his own tool by filing down a wide flat head bit to fit.
I'd rather find the tool that was used on these originally.
Thanks

I would just use a flat screw driver.
They just made an ordinary slotted screw more fancy; didn't they.
Yeah, although it's wider than most bits and the slots are thinner. So I'd have to 1) find a very wide bit, then 2) file it down really thin.
I bet Kizer has a tool but won't share it or never produced it for public sale.

I'm heading out to look for that bit now!

I have acquired a bunch of specialty bits over the years as a lot of manufacturers don't want people to mess with their products. The river company (specialty screwdriver bits) might be a source.

In my opnion this is the place to start. The Wheeler gun smith kit. IMG_7030.jpeg
It has a bunch of specific specialty bits, that may work. But it also has an assortment of flat bits that is unequalled. Almost every option of thickness and width. So you sometimes modify one of those. Then you can replace each specific bit as needed.

There is also an add on set that fits in that little rectangular spot.

I think anyone should have at home at least a basic hand and power tools to fix something or do some basic things.
Regarding Kizer pivot ...... get a flat screwdriver of appropriate width and then grind it to a needed thickness.
You can also DIY a screwdriver from a piece of sheet metal.
After all, it's just a screwdriver and not some space rocket launching pad.

Thanks for the tips!
I have plenty of tools but of course nothing that fit that pivot.
So decided to buy a grinder/buffer and make my own bit to fit.
Still surprised with all the Kizers using that pivot, they don't have a bit/tool available, similar to Hinderers pivot bit.
Thanks again
