I came across this on a stores website a few days back. I'm intrigued by the design but as it seems like it's fairly new there doesn't seem to be much info out there on it. Anyone have one or try one that would like to share their thoughts?

Looks like the guy who designed the Ulize designed this Sealion knife. I like the look of this knife alot. Uli seems to design some nice knives.

The Sealion reminds me of the Zt 0452 in terms of its lines. Which is good because I love that sleek build style. (Seems popular with Russian designers) The 0452 showed me how a framelock can be tough as nails without being "overbuilt"

I agree, it reminds me of the 0450 which I'm a big fan of. That's probably why it interests me so much.

dont have that kizer but have a nomad. quality knife and well built material and fit and finish wise for the price point. i was skeptical of the higher end chinese made brands when they came out. i was wrong to be skeptical.

goto YouTube and search it. a few on there.
I've watched what's there but what I've been wondering is why it doesn't seem like anyone on here has been talking about them. The design seems nice to me and it's on my radar to buy but I'm new to knives so I'm the lack of reviews/discussion has me wondering if there's something about it I'm missing.

I want to like this one. Really like the blade shape. But the dimpling on the handle, and the blue pivot ring (a la the economical Begleiter...nice enough knife, BTW) and the continuing appearance of THAT KIZER PIVOT are putting me off. I'll probably pick up the T1, designed by Uli H. as well, even with THAT PIVOT, but I'm not sure about the Sealion.

There's something about the carved pattern that doesn't do it for me. Maybe if the whole handle had it, or if it was all smooth, I'd like it better, I'm not sure. It's definitely light for a knife that size, at only 3.7oz, which is a plus to me.

The machined sealion neck fur pattern kills it dead, for me. I also hate bright colored accents and swirly pivots, so I scroll right past it.

It should be called the Stallion not the Sealion. As the handle looks like it was designed to look like a horse's .... anatomy.
