Got a cheap Kizer Sunburst user off the swap to mess with. Previous owner had attempted a front flipper mod, so I continued with that, grinding away the top of the handle for better flippage. Opens smoothly, but won't flip for me, doh! So continued modding...
Chopped down the handles to the clip, and took off about 1/4" from the blade too.
Reshaped blade to wharnie/sheepsfoot hybrid shape.
Ground off the texturing on handles, smoothed em out.
Stonewashed the handles.
Man, there's a lot of bang for the buck w/ this budget knife. S35vn blade, good action, aluminum scales for $70 new (I paid half that for a user)? Probably gonna cop a couple more just to mess with in different ways.
