I don't own any Kizer knives and saw this one that appealed to me as an intro to their line. I ordered it. Do any of you have any experience with this Kizer budget knife? Tell me about it.

not that one, but i have a vanguard velox 2 - similar it seems, atleast with VG-10 and G-10 flipper and liner lock.
I've had no issues with the action, fit, finish, or steel.

the blade (suppossedly satin) was more polished that I typically like, but definitely not a deal breaker.
I carried mine as edc for 4 or 5 months

I own this knife, the one in red and black. It's a nice knife, it flips super hard, almost too hard. Sometimes the lock sticks, sometimes it doesn't. The lock face on the tang of the blade has some weird stuff going on though. There is a chamfer on the show side of the lock face which effective reduces it to half the size. Not sure why Kizer decided to do this, but it means the lock will have shorter life than other liner locks.

Thanks for both of your replies as I know more than I started with.

Added: I received the knife 9/1/18. Looks like a nice little flipper. Steel is thin and I suspect it will be slicey. It seems well made and good QA/QC.
