Kizer Wanderer Mod

Hey all,

I have been turning over and over in my head whether or not to modify the scales on my Wanderer. Its a sweet knife which I really like and in my opinion is under-appreciated.

I like the look as it is smooth and classy and just has an overall "melted" look and feel but I feel like it could also use a little.... something. The scales fingerprint very easily as is.

I was thinking of either having a dark stonewash done on the scales and darkening the hardware and pivot to match or having the handle anodized blue. But I'm really not sure. I don't want to mess it up!

Has anyone else modded a Wanderer? I don't see many out there in general, let alone a modded one.

the scales on that knife are ripe for modding....anodizing, carving, oxidizing...all could look very good. I say go for it

Stock it just looks so plain, yet pristine. I want to keep that theme intact. I'm debating between like "bugout blue" ano or a dark stonewash and darker hardware on the scales only.
