It looks like a decent improvement over the military chopper off of which it is based. If you can get a good deal on it and it appeals to you I don't see why not!
 
^ What he said. Looks very similar to an Ontario SP-8 Machete. A little longer with a little more blade/weight at the end.
 
well bought it off of another forum:thumbup:
U8 steel seems to be the equivalent of sk5 japan steel so it should be tough.
 
I have one of his combat style knives...bullet proof and very well made. Fit and Finish far exceeds the price.
