A quick google search of the site only turned up one other thread, with no replies..but the poster had sold a knife on ebay for a lot of money that was made by klaus tragbar.

I have a "K Tragbar Solingen Germany" marked knife set I receivd from my grandfather before he passed away. I don't plan on selling it but would like to know if they are of quality or not, I have read about plenty of dubious items being marked Solingen.

It was purchased when my mother and her parents were stationed in Germany in the 60s. Decorative stag handle with stag carving on it, small brass bolster and no other marks. Blade is about 5.5", and the sheath is leather and marked "solingen western germany" and has a smaller knife on the outside.

Its nifty either way, an dbeing more of a maker then a collector I was just curious. Feel free to move this where it needs to be moved if I was wrong in placing it here. Much thanks
