Hey people I'm just geting started trying to build up my tools. I was wondering if anybody has used one of the sugercreek kilns and if so how do they perform? Any feedback would be nice.

Don't have one myself but everything I have read about them and heard about them has been positive.

I have a friend who has one, and I've used it quite a bit.

I've never had any problems with it. They seem like a good deal for the money.

Note: They do NOT usually come with the digital controller - that is an add on for an extra charge.

No idea on heat treating books but Evenheat has some great information on basic heat treating. Check it out.

I have the 24" with digital controller works great. controller is apro 250.00 extra.
The only thing I don't like is, the controller faces to the side and not the front.
