Between the Klipsch B-2's and Klipsch VB-15's, which book self speakers would you choose? I currently have a Klipsch C-2 Center channel on my Yamaha 5.1 receiver and want some front speakers to match them.

I can get a pair of used C-2's from work for cheap or a NIB pair of VB-15's for $39 more. I've listened to them side by side and can tell that there is a small difference in sound but didn't spend enough time listening to tell if I liked one better then the other.

A coworker said he would buy the VB-15's because they are a newer model (replacement for the B-2) and NIB. But I'm kind of leaning towards the B-2's cause the $39 savings could by a BK-11 I've been wanting. So my question is; which speakers would you buy, the used B-2's and a knife or the VB-15's?

Thanks,

Heber

I would say B2's because they are going to match the voicing of the C2 that you already have. If the VB15's sound different from the B2's then they are likely going to sound different than your current C2. Think of it this way. Would you put a B2 on the left channel and a Vb-15 on the right?

Thanks for the comments.
