Does anyone have one of these, or has handled one? Any info on this would be appreciated. The only place that I have seen one is with A.G. Russell here:
http://www.agrussell.com/knives/by_maker/e_through_k/klotzli/klotzli_brian_tighe_titanium_.html
It doesn't give all the info I would like, especially a review from someone who has one.
Is the lock like a CRKT Lakes P.A.L. ?
Clip?
Open Back?
The site gives a lot of history, but not enough knife data.
Can anyone help?? :)
Thanks,
Dave.

Thanks for the replies. The pics were a big help. If the pics are representative of the actual piece, it looks really good. The thumb stud appears to be reversable. Any one ever see one, or have one? For 3 texas tens, it is bordering on custom price territory.

You know now that I think about it... Brian's customs
are really reasonable compared to customs of that caliber.
Which I believe to be about $200 more then the Klotzli.

Although that exact design seems to be sold to Klotzli exclusively
there are some very simialar designs to that one for around $400ish.

Also it looks like he uses BG-42 which I would prefer esp. when
we start talking the $300+ range.

Maybe saving up the extra would be worth it. (heck, after
looking at Tighe's knives I want one!.. beautiful.)

I remember reading a post about this knife. It had to be here or at KF. It was not too flattering of this one. The problem seemed to be in the button lock, and I believe it had to do with the lock wearing fast and causing the lock to fail. I DO NOT have first hand experience about this, just read about it because I really liked this piece and it seems to be about the biggest knife Klotzi produces.

Thanks all for the tips.
msiley - You are right. I did some searching, and for around 200 more a full custom, with better steel would be the way to go.
cockroachfarm - a photo would be great. I guess that I will keep saving, and get the real thing. I know it would be worth it. I just have to keep this money from burning a hole in my pocket.
cutter17 - The lock looks like it isn't very robust, so I can believe that.

Thanks all. :)
Dave.
