been checking out the titanuim handled klotzli's at AG Russells and they look pretty nice but kind of steep....anyone have any experience with these knives??.....thx/paul

I have a Walker desigh Swiss made Klotzi with 440C steel.
It's very light, has no clip, and costs more then its worth except as an office workers knife that stays in his desk.
Yeah, it's Swiss made but the blade does not center in the handle when it is closed.

I also have a small Walker Kloetzi (proper spelling). I quite like it, despite it's rather dull appearance. Super smooth action, nice blade geo, good lock. My one gripe: the edge is not ground symetrically.
But the real problem with these knives is that they are overpriced by default. You're paying for swiss production costs (very high!) and in the US a mark-up because they're imported. This means you'll always get something more for your money from another company.
A real pitty, beacause I like some of their designs.

Had one from ag russell back in...98, 99 maybe. It was one with the wharncliff blade and g-10. Really liked it alot. Very slim, and I was able to "wave" it using the grip serrations. (very cool because I'm pretty sure this was before I ever saw an emerson). ---But, the lock failed very eaisily with a spine wack so I sent it back.

I was just about to post the correct spelling when I saw your post. Great minds think alike, but I have the advantage of not having to copy & paste to display umlauts. :p ;)
