Hey Guys, I finally got around to making my KLVUK sheath with piggyback. I picked up another KLVUK from the last batch and set to make a piggyback system for it. I re-profiled the handle some as it came a tad smaller than my last so I rounded the bottom some so it did not dig in my hand. I tried to keep the piggyback simple by using a single strap wrapped around the khuk and double snapped through a retention strap in the rear. Im not sure if I like it yet as it is the first one Ive done, I want to keep the ability to remove it and carry it separately so I might see how this one works or possibly make a longer strap so it can wrap back around to the front and snap, this might make it tighter to the bigger sheath. I guess I could also just stitch the small sheath to the big one and make another small sheath to carry it separately. Feel free to make any suggestions. I offset the smaller sheath to make it line up better at the bottom, im anal like that, But like how it sits a tad offset. Here are a few pics, let me know what you think.

Hope you like it.

I like it very much. At first I wasn't nuts about the handle relation not lining up with the big sheath on your first prototype but I think the way you have it is actually better.

I love how you recontoured the handle on the big knife too. Looks good and I bet it feels nice in hand.

Thats bad to the bone Pugs! Let me wear that in my brain for a bit! I like how you have the piggy positioned. I was thinking at first it might be cool to align it so the the end of the handle fits under the strap of the big one but then it might compromise resheathing the little one. If the little handle stuck out too far it might be snagging on branches and vines and such. I think it looks good right where you have it. Love the color! I like the ability to remove the little one as well. You can park the mothership and take the little one for a ride if needed! Superb craftmanship!

Thank you much gents, The handle needed a bit of rounding at the bottom and it sure does feel good now.
