Can anyone tell me where I can get this knife and for how much?

The German army can get a low cost per unit, but a civilian in germany would get the knife for around €75 , alot cheaper if it were surplus or used (maybe even half price.

If I were to buy it from a dealer in the United states, all the way from here in Australia I would be paying alot more. I would probably end up paying $190 US.

If I were to be able to find a local importer somewhere in Sydney I might get it for a reasonable price. I'll do some research into dealers here in Sydney.

Doubt if you can ship those in "down under", without having the proper paperwork.

I've bought a knife from over seas before, can't see why it can't be done again.
Except last time it was from a dealer which was over seas.

I suppose its their problem, they are the ones who need to ask for permission. Probably why they charge more.

Yes indeed, higher mark-ups would be the result of having to go through all the "necessary paperwork". But, really; it should be easier to source out from a licensed arms dealer if its bayonets you want. Not that they would consider selling "contract samples" in the first place! Join the army and see the world. From what I understand, there are M9 bayonets available in Australia?

I see this knife available on ebay Australia.
