KME Scissors Attachment

KME has a new scissors attachment available. Has anyone tried it yet?

Scissors are tough for me. I usually hone them on the sharpmaker, but I can never seem to get them razor sharp. I feel like the jig would be helpful, especially since it seems like many pro sharpeners use the Wolff Twice-as-Sharp jig.
 
I would get one if you have a KME because you will get a more consistent angle,also if you type in youtube KME Scissor you should see their video come up and it's very well done,I never got one for my KME when I had one.

I did get the scissor attachment and the universal table for my TSProf and both can sharpen scissors and do it very well.
 
thanks wade7575 wade7575 - I just ordered the KME Scissors and Axe attachments. I got the convexing rod for the axe attachment as well. Time to let the neighbors know I'm happy to sharpen their scissors for practice!
 
That's great to hear you got some toys coming your way,just be careful with scissors it's very easy ruin them if you get it wrong,also with hair dresser shears they can have a convex edge and can not be sharpened on a guided system from what I understand and you need to be sure if they are convex or not before you touch those.
