:foot: first i'll put my foot in my mouth! But I just sold my harley project and am planning on buying a KMG 10" package.I've been sitting here all day refreshing my inbox with anticipation:) hopefully i dont get jumped in harlem dropping it off:eek: I put alot of thought into it,I love the look of hollow ground knives and the homemade grinder i have isnt too smooth for that task. She was a good first grinder now it's time for some precision! Hopefully as all the post's say my grinding efforts will be met with less frustration with a better machine.I'm thinking candy apple red....with ghost flames.:D
I also put some thought into a mini mill but at this rate i think i could slot 2 or 3 gaurds a year by hand:rolleyes:
before i forget i have a 1 horse motor on my old grinder is that enough? i never ran into a lack of power using it,I dont do much hogging.

Joe, do you build Custom Bikes?

The reason I ask is because I just shipped a grinder down to Eddie Trotta (Thunder Cycle Design) in Ft Lauderdale. He will be using it in the upcoming series "V-Twin TV" on the Speed channel. It will be a 13 episode series starting in Sept.

Rob I was trying to build a custom chopper....and then i met my wife ;) then i got her pregnant....;) and the rest is history.my dream chopper
there wasnt many peices to it but the front end was WILD,I'm on my way to the city to drop it off now i'll email you when i get back. I am only 15 minutes from Orange couty choppers shop i see them all the time,if you consider what they do building bikes
