If you get the base plates from Beaumont to mount the grinder & motor, how do you change speeds with the 3-step pulleys? How do you get slack in the belt to move it?

it mounts with just enough slack to pull the belt down a size on the step pulley, and then work it over the next one. It works quite well actually. You sort of need to change it like you would bike gears, and turn the pulleys by hand while pulling the belt to one side or the other.
