Can somebody post a picture of KMG Variable speed setup?
I should get my 2HP motor and controller later this week and want to get all necessary material(wires, steel, switch?) ready for setup.

Any other setup related tips are appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

I painted the frame on mine with primer and black hammerite paint. Stripped it completely down. Can't stand to see my tools rust.
I measured the protrusion of the tracking knob thru the arm that rest on the spring. That way, I was able to put it back at approximately the same location and tracking wasn't too far off.
I cold blued the tooling arm because I thought that paint would get scrapped off and I already had a tube of the blueing.

Just make sure as you put it back together that all the pieces are square to one another.

It was fairly easy to get back together.

I disassembled my KMG cleaned it, rounder some sharp edges but could get paint I wanted for it so I just put it together unpainted. I wanted to use industrial epoxy coating but didn't find any available to in small quantities. They only sell it in 3 gallons. You have to buy two of them because it's two part epoxy paint. It's also very expensive.
