Does anyone know how to wire up the 2hp Leeson motor that comes with the KMG Grinder? I have two bunches of wire and a single wire that looks like it was part of one of the bunches leading to the thermal overload.

I thought I would have 2 bunches of wire and they would be marked but this throws me off.

I do know the ground goes to the green screw!

As far as my background goes I'm not a complete novice to electricity, I just wired my shop and have done a few garages and street lights.

Instructions are on the inside of the cover.

Also, since you bought it from Rob, he'll likely help you out if you ask. I've seen him help people with other grinders on this forum.

Thanks everyone, I've got it figured out!

There was a piece of tape on the motor holding a pin for the pulley, I decided to install the pulley and the schematics were under the tape! :D

I have it all done now, even ground a piece of steel for a second to try it out. This thing is bad, I was even more impressed with it after using it.:thumbup: I'm going to be grinding like crazy.:D

I'll post some pics tomorrow, it was too cold to want to go back out again, right around 0 degrees in my shop. (would all my grinds be zero degree grinds under those conditions?) :)

I built a bench for this, ran new 220 with a switch and 110 to my shop with a spotlight on a switch, and got the grinder going all in the last three days! I'm tired but it is just time to get started! :D:D:D

That is the truth, he has been very prompt and helpful. He has answered all my questions in record time and even customized the grinder for almost nothing, I couldn't be happier.

KMG all the way!
