Some of you may remember me posting last year around this time about my annual trip to my grandfathers cabin to cut wood for the rest of the year. I thought I would post up pictures from this year, featuring a true "Grail Knife" that I have acquired recently. Less talk, more pics.
Grandfathers cabin. Been coming here for as long as I can remember. So many good memories here.

View from the road:

My little boy. He loves anything with wheels. He is starting to show interest in knives too, much to my wife's dismay.

And now the moment you've all been waiting for... My "Grail" JK. I know the word grail is tossed around often on this site. A grail, in most cases, is a knife that one of us knife nuts could never acquire. For me that was a stainless JK Camp and Trail. You might not know this, but I love the JK Camp and Trail (C&T). It is my absolute favorite knife. In fact, I own every singe C&T ever produced from John. I should do a full review on all of them one day, when I have the time. Up until the summer, JK knives was exclusively O1 steel. Stainless steel would never be possible from JK knives, but that all changed, and I jumped on the chance to get a JK in SS.

John was even nice enough to stamp "1" on the reverse side. A much welcomed surprise!

And because my boy wanted his picture too.

Here it is with the rest of the clan

And the whole family

I may embellish more when I get a minute to myself, but I have been meaning to post up for over a week.
