I really like the looks of those. Do you have a spec sheet for them? Price and such.

I have seen threads of guys singing the praises of those enough now that I want one. Do you have pics of one next to a gerber/fiskars hatchet by chance? Since you make your own stuff I doubt you have one but figured it was worth asking. Hard to gauge size.

Hi Tundra -

Nothing next to a Fiskars axe hatchet, but here on a pair of Levi's -

the grind from the choil end -

As you can see - meaty so as to add weight for chopping, but it has that large edge to use like a knife.

On my picnic table next to my Combat / Survival -

I`ll measure and weigh one today. No Gerber, but maybe with something like a Buck 119?

Specs are:
11 1/2" overall
3" blade heigth
about 1 lb
Oak is $205, micarta is $215

Picture has a Timberline Krommer, Knatchet, Hawk and Gerber Pax.

Two of them are crap and the other two have "K's" on them.

The Krommer grind is almost like a dull scandi so does not chop very well. The Pax is basically a splitting wedge with an handle. Below is view showing the grinds on the Knatchet, Krommer and the Hawk. The Knatchet is 3/16" steel and the others 1/4".
