This is Mrs. Hoghead. I've been reading these for quite some time. Decided to have my say in life. Living with a Khuk knut is very challenging, so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!:D

Mrs Hoghead, welcome!

Your husband seems to have it in for Corporate greed. I've been meaning to tell him we can halt the stock lies they've been guilty of, but there isn't a lot we can do about corporations. If you tax to make them pay their fair share, they raise the price of goods to the consumer.

Do you ever use one of Hoghead's khuks?

or Mrs. Hoghead. Since you bothered to get your own bladeforums ID, I shall call you MamaV!

Welcome to the Cantina.

Well, whoever would have guessed we'd be a first.

The only use I get is to instuct him in how I want my meat cut up or something. I also get to try to make more room in this little apartment for all the new ones coming in. But that's ok. I'm sure if someone comes thru the front door in the middle of the night when hoghead's on the road they'll think twice about staying.

Yes, the boss is a little ticked on corporate greed. Even before it hit so close to home!! He'll get over it.....I hope:rolleyes:

..'the boss'; I guess I better start calling him, "MR. Hoghead"

My dad was screwed by Aerospace, and my Uncle lost much of his retirement after flying for Eastern over 20 years. They raided the retirement fund right before bankruptcy.

The bankruptcy thing we should be able to do something about. I see another airline just pulled a similar stunt.

There's a nice tibetan sword up as a Crazy Pala Deal....if you're having trouble finding room for new ones, it would make a great piece for persuading new khuks to find homes elsewhere :D

Welcome to the Cantina. Glad to see the ladies getting interested in the Khuks even if it is in self defense. I think my wife gave up when she used my 15" Sirupati in the kitchen for a while and found out how well the Khuks really do work.

I hope you can enjoy the forum even half as much as most of us do.

You are right. The average person usually takes a step back from a khuk when it is coming out of the scabbard. Again Welcome!!:)

Good to have another mama, Mamav!

If I may welcome you, even though I'm probably newer than you.
To borrow a term, lots of "Good Stuff" here.

ENJOY!:)

Tohatchi NM, Yes the tibetan looks really neat. But we already have one:D . I think we have one of everything:rolleyes: . But that's Ok. They are a real bonding item with Dad and Daughter. So whatever it takes these days is OK with me. Kids can really disown their parents around those teenage years so I'm encouraging their time of "playing".

I think hoghead will give me one for the kitchen although he doesn't trust me with knives. I'm a little uncoordinated;) :D . On second thought I'll just let him do all the cooking and I'll clean up or read or whatever:cool:

I'm glad to be here and hope to learn lots of new stuff about Khuks and Nepal since he thinks that will be a good home. He used to threaten to move to Bolivia and I thot it was just a joke name, but there really is a bolivia.:o .I think Finland would be great since they spend a lot of time in the sauna and that is fine with me. Helps all this arthritis;) I'm originally from Montana. Maybe they'll let me teach at the rural school since I have 14 years experience in homeschooling and that's an all grades situation, too.

But that's another thread.

Take care and thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome MamaV:)

I think the Kumar Karda would be a great Kitchen knife for you;)
