Just did get this one finished before leaving tomorrow for two weeks. I haven't even put the edge on her yet. It IS NOT damascus. Those are reflections from an over hanging tree.

This one goes to Wild Rose for the sheath.

Well, anyhow here it is: http://riflestocks.tripod.com/pics13.html

Thanks all for looking.

!!!Roger, You did it again! great work, and really great looking balance of materials. You get the bone material from Chuck?

Beutiful, Asome finish, and a great desighn, don't think theres anything I don't like about it!

Very very nice Rodger. I am just amazed at the things you are putting out now.
Now if you would just put a nice rust brown finish on it!:footinmou

Thanks all!!!

I didn't expect to be back until the 26th but had to come back today because of a sever lack of planning. Got to the camp Monday (3 hour drive). Last night couldn't find my hunting liscence. Finally remembered leaving it in my fly fishing vest, back home!!!!

Oh well, back on the road again tomorrow to try it again.

come on, no one will buy that,,,
,, you just had to talk to us some more didn't you:)
Knives knives and more knives :D
you got the bug real bad:) :D

:D Dan, there is truth in what you say but I really did leave my liscence behind. Unreal but stupid and true.

Hey John, yes I did get the Walrus bone from Chuck Leake (aka akivory). He seems to think it could be a hundred years old. All those dark speckles must be mineral deposits. Boy does that stuff look good and work well. It is heavy, kinda like mammoth bone is but I did not encounter the familiar cracks as I have with mammoth. I like it a lot and will use more of it. I got it as 'the bone' and cut my own scales from it.

Roger-
Looking forward to getting my hot little hands on this one - of course now I've got to come up with a sheath to match it! :D

Thanks for the info, Roger. It is really facinating to see your knives and also to see what you come up with next! Sorry to hear about your extra driving and trouble, Roger. Good luck with your hunting, guy.
