Used some coral given me by John for this one:). Big thanks John! Blade steel is CPM S30V. The bolsters are dovetailed and tapered tang I might give this one to my daughter for her 30th since I think it looks like something a girl might like.

Other pictures and specs are here: http://riflestocks.tripod.com/pics16.html

WOW,Roger! That sure is some beautiful work, and quick! I still have some other coral to go out,not finished yet.You and the other fellas still will get the other coral, soon as my rock guys dig themselves out and get finished.I really like the way you ran the cells on the slabs, and the finish. Perfect,Roger!Edited To Add,You are most welcome, and thanks for doing such fine work on some rough material.

Very nice Rodger. Your usual clean, tasteful job. I've never worked coral, how does it grind?

Nice Roger. Makes me think I need to do something special for my daughters pretty soon. One has put in an order for a painting. You have ispired me, but I can't think anything outside knives (except bola's) right now. I might have to make her a knife and paint something on it.

Thanks a bunch fellows.

John, I look forward and thanks again for the white coral. I said I'd use it.

Peter, this particular coral is not difficult to grind and I was able to drill it with a carbide mason bit. However, it is super brittle. I have another small piece of a different colar that is much harder.

NICE knife, Roger. The coral looks great! White "stone" cable damascus look!

Absolutely GORGEOUS....
I don't post for awhile and look at you guys just blowing me away with the incredable work that is being done,Now I know mune are looking like a beginner's.I better get back in the shop and make something.

I might add that the pictures do not do Roger's finish justice. I've seen very few mirror finishes as clean and sharp as Roger's are.

Nice work Roger! I am a big chicken about using the coral in the first place, now you've just upped the ante! :D Nice going, your daughter is in for one sweet surprise.

Beautiful Knife! - Wish just once someone would post one that looks like the knives I make. (UGLY!)

Thanks all again. You fellows are very kind to me.

IG, yes on the HT Relish. I like spicy and it will be used and reported back here about.

Dave, I've already seen your work with coral so that is BS. I was originally inspired to do this by what I saw of your work (that fantastic red coral knife you posted several months back). So when John shinned such generousity upon me I attempted one.

Bruce E., You have taught me and even though I do not make large knives such as you I know true craftsmanship when I see yours.
