Knife #33 - a little Scandi in Box Elder

This one is of doubled dyed box elder burl. Thanks for taking a peek. Two more ironwood knives of this bushcraft batch and its on to a couple different type knives.

you're knives are VERY easy on the eyes, but still have the look of hard workers, great stuff. :) :cool:
 
DANG, Roger, You did it again! We have been waiting to see that knife, fella. That knife is beautiful. The wood is a perfect match for that knife, too. And another great grind, too. Beautiful finish. Hey, where didja git that wood? You do it yourself? Ya know, even your pictures are good, Roger.
 
That is really nice! That Box Elder looks like it is moving in the pic. I bet it is a real friendly user.
 
Thank ya all big time. Well, one more to post in a little while and then one left to finish after that and that will do it for this batch of six.

That particular box elder is the only piece of wood I have never had to do any filling on. I was not able to find a single pin hole in the burl to have to fill. Wish they were all like that.
