Just thought I'd share Knife #4 I made on Saturday. As always, I make the disclaimer that a friend produces the Damascus blades and I do the handle work. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out. It's a nice sized knife at 7" overall and a 3" blade. I used copper and black fiber spacers and this was my very first attempt at filework. The handle is Thuya burl. One of these days I need to start making my own blades but for now this is a really enjoyable weeknight and weekend hobby for me.

That looks fantastic! Great work, and beautiful choice of wood. Keep it up.

That is purdy stuff! Do you ever do tapered tangs? I think those adds something extra to any fixed blade.
