Hey guys. I know I'm in the middle of a learning pass-around, but I didn't want to wait to make more knives. I've incorporated some of the feedback I've gotten so far into this knife. I'm going to do this in a sort of iterative process. I'm making a running list of feedback from the Knife 3 pass-around, and focusing on different aspects for each of my next few knives.

Focus for this one: Handles
I tried to get the handles nice and even. I am very fond of my dremel, but I need to get some better tips. I was using some crappy old tips, and wasn't able to get this one perfect. Plus, it was going to a cousin at the family reunion I went to over the weekend, and I simply ran out of time on it, so no hand sanding was done. I got it as close as I could before I had to leave town.

My cousing used it immediately to split some wood, clean some fish, and thought itperformed great. I'm actually pretty proud of this one.

Without further ado, Knife 4!

O1 steel
6 1/2" blade
3/16" thick
1 1/2" wide
Full flat grind
Mirror polished edge (this son of a gun is SHARP!)
Green linen micarta handles
I made a sheath, but forgot to take a picture of it. Pity, really, it's WAY better than the one going around with Knife 3.

That is an awesome knife. Okay......What would something like that cost. I am a total idiot when it comes to quality knives.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the support. Hopefully I can have something sell worthy by the end of summer. I'm sure my wife would LOVE to see some money come in to offset all the money that's gone out :)

Looks great.
Post some pics of the sheath if you get a chance.

I'll see if my cousin would be kind enough to snap a picture :)

Very nice blade. I really like the handle on this one. Thanks for sharing with us
