Knife and Cup

It took me a bit to make this a somewhat relevant post... I think I did well enough.

I waited over 90 minutes in line to see Lord Stanley leave the ice arena on to its' next venue. I arrived to late for the formal "pay $10 to get a picture" process. Here it is on its' way out. We were told that the guy would bring it down the line for quick pictures, but he was pretty much at a dead run from the building to the car!

One of my shots had a great shot of one of the best teams ever... GO FLYERS!

Oh yeah, and I go a new knife.

Double oh yeah... the Mischief is in a couple days. TOO MUCH FOR ONE INDIVIDUAL TO HANDLE, I TELL YA!

I was in Boston the day of the big parade. Well, I got out of Boston for the day while it was on

A few days before I was in Martha's Vineyard. Karen got this shot of me with my Busse uniform on.

For a second there, I thought about bragging that I drove 160 miles for the opportunity to almost see the cup. That's nothing compared to you flying thousands of miles for the chance to avoid the Boston Bruins Championship Parade!

Neither of us would have these stories if the team I wanted to win the cup had actually done so. I suppose with that I am thankful that the Bruins won it all. I truly believe that the best team won it this time.
