This is a picture of a knife I made with a stag handled firestarter I put together out of some stag scraps I had laying around. Works well, really throws the sparks. I plan to put it to good use over the Easter weekend on a trip to my inlaws, who have 225 acres of woods and a nice lake in southern Illinois way out in the boonies.

ooohh... i like that set up a lot... that blade looks like a great user...

I really don`t know, it`s the striker that came with the firesteel. The back of the blade throws some great sparks!

I know this is old but what kind of antler did you use for the firesteel? It is one of the most beutifull colors ever! I want to cut off the gaudy rubber 4 inch handle made to look like charcoal :barf: on my firesteel and do the same thing. Also, what kind of glue did you use?

The antler was part of an old junker knife handle I found in a resale shop. I used 3M 2 ton epoxy.
