I'm looking for some ideas for a fixed blade sheath and leatherman combo. This would be for hiking and working around the in-laws farm. Pics would be great.

Thanks

Design is going to depend a lot on what size knife you want to carry. But I'm going to assume something large like a big camp chopper or machete.

In which case, the first design that springs to mind is something like a sharpening stone holder. From Google images:

It would be bigger of course, but the same idea.

I have done a couple with kydex. I just made a mounting bracket out of kydex that bolted onto the sheath rivets that the belt loop of the leatherman case rode on.

I have also made a few leather combo sheaths that used the same idea. Just made a jumper that bolted to the sheath that the belt loop from another sheath could ride on. It would be just as easy to put a leatherman on these instead of a piggyback knife.

Good luck,

^^^^^^^^this! Holy Moses! Is that just for field use, or do you stop in the market with that? :D
Thanks, Neal

Thank you guys.. no sense in having a setup if you're not going to use it. My answer is both! Even Church!
