Knife attack in Massachusetts, too...

Interesting that MA has some of the strictest knife laws around. Check any knife catalog and you'll see, constantly appended to double-edged knives of any kind, Cannot Be Shipped to CA or MA.

The laws about carry are strict. The only edged weapons we are prohibited from owning are auto.

As far as the catalogs go, it varies. Sportsman's Guide will now ship no knives at all to MA. Ten years ago I bought bayonets from them, no problem.

Daggers and swords are not prohibited from ownership, only carry. I believe the CA double-edge rumor to be myth too. JMHO.

Sword and dagger owner, still shopping.

Myth or not, there are many sellers of knives who won't ship double-edged blades to CA or MA. There must be some reason for that...
