Hi. I want some sort of a bag that I can use as an "emergency" type kit. I want it to hold all my knives securely(only about 5 blades) and some other stuff. (First aid, etc) I was thinking of a tac. vest, but then thought I could use an old backpack. My question is: How could I rig the inside with straps, loops, etc. to attach my knives securely inside so they don't move too much? They are large fixed blades; Strider BT, Buckmaster 184, and some others. Any ideas?
Also; I'm not concerned about "protecting" the knives too much. (Padding and stuff) Just having them inside the bag is protection enough. I just do not want them moving about so I can find them quickly. Last time I checked, striders don't exactly fall apart from a bit 'o jostling around.
I want to spend very little, if any money, which is why I'm looking to convert a backpack. BUT, if you know of any other excellent systems that may fit my needs, PLEASE let me know!
