Forget about DMT and the Sharp maker, I need one of these!:thumbup:

I just finished lunch at a street stall and was walking around the Zocalo area in Oaxaca City looking for paletas and saw this dude sharpening a huge blade on a sweet bike conversion. Considered handing over my Benchmade 940 but.... no.
Still, made me realize how weak my sharpening setup is. :D

Naw, he was on point, just blinking. Lame photo skills on my part. He was checking sharpness regularly and seemed to have a light tough on the stone. No sparks or anything.

Needs a catchier name though.......

Knife bike? Meh:p

Perhaps we call it the "stationary stonicycle" :D

Cool use of materials.
As far as fitness goes...yeah he certainly looks ready for the Tour de France...

Isn't he supposed to have a large stone wheel? This is just lazy. :D jk
Seriously though, that is is a nice setup. He can set that up anywhere without having to worry about if there is power available. Im sure he draws more business doing that where everyone can see him too.
We need more televisions and computers powered this way!
Knifercising, the fastest way to cut fat.
'be dum tsss!'

When I lived in the Philippines there was a dude who would ride his bike door to door sharpening knives. I remember his bike was set up similar to this but he could ride it normally too.

I had him sharpen my Batangas made Balisong

Here's a video of one in action. There are tons of variations of these all over the globe, especially in Central/South America, Africa, and the Middle East, it seems.

My bet would be that guy can put a hell of an edge on a knife. :)
