Is there anything that can be used to repair or remove a small surface scratch in a CPM 154 knife blade? Any thoughts on this would be welcome.

You just want to try to match the finish on the blade. Scotchbrite works sometimes, depending on the finish.

You can start with Mother's Mag Wheel polish. I have brought a number of old beater knives back to life with it. Its not aggressive and won't harm anything, but can put a nice shine on a blade. Worth a try.

Careful with that Scotchbrite. It will put a new satiny finish on your blade. JMO.

I have used Flitz on A2 and have hand polished to a near mirror finish. I guess you can stop polishing any time before that to get the finish you want.
