knife blank advice

Hello, I am looking to buy a full tang knife blank that I will be making a wood handle for.

Where can I find some decent knife blanks? What kind of steel should I get? I don't want to spend too much, as this is my first time doing it. Id say less than $50. Nothing too big.

Try Jantz, usaknifemaker, knife kits, Texas knife supply. There are bunch of places, just look around until you find what you want.
