Knife block I just made

I got tired of having all my kitchen knives laying around, or, worse, thrown into a drawer together, so yesterday I whipped up this block using local black walnut:

And here's the knives that go in it, minus one santoku and two steak knives I have yet to make, and one knife that's dirty:

With the exception of the san mai one, what blade steels are the others made of?
Btw, just bought BLADE at the airport flying out, congrats on the article!

Don't show that article to any children or elderly people. The picture of me might scare them. :D

I think the two smallest knives are 154CM. They are a couple blades that another maker gave me. I didn't do much to them except heat treat them and put handles on.

The other three chef's knives are all 440c. The smallest one, at the top, was heat treated with a torch, before I got my oven. It's doing great. :cool:
