In the late 1980's I had a knife book, it may have been the annual or something like that. I lost it in moving after the divorce (1994)

It contained an article about how to make knife handles out of Cholla Cactus

I rememeber most of the article, just enought to get me in trouble::grumpy: : the article showed how to mix a expoy or resin in a paper toilet roll. adding color Etc

I am looking for a replacement book or a copy of the article.

I don't remember seeing the article but I have some Chollo Cactus scales that were made by Buster Warenski. I got them from Buster at the Guild Show severals years ago. They look easy enough to make.He just slabbed the cactus and covered them with clear resin.Dave

The article is in the first Gun Digest Book of Knives on page 238. It is a fairly long article.
