We stopped by the Half Price Books (www.halfpricebooks.com) in Corpus Christi Texas and found a few knife books that some of you may be interested in. All of them are selling for half of the MSRP or less. All are new (probably overstock or over-runs). Since they are new, they may be available at a branch nearer to you.

Knife Talk 2 by Ed Fowler - don't recall price
one copy in Sports section
Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives by Dr. David Darom - $19.98
two copies left in the Sports section
I have also seen Art and Design in Modern Custom Fixed-Blade Knives by Dr. David Darom and $50 knife shop in the Sports section of the Humble (Houston) store for the same price.
If you have never hear of the amazing books by Dr. Darom, do a search here on BF or on Amazon to get a taste.
The clerk that I spoke with said that Half Price Books does not ship but they will transfer a book to another store and that it takes about a month.
The Corpus Christi store (and maybe others) has a clearance sale that ends on Dec 29 where everything is discounted another 20%.
