Knife Bushings and Bearings!

I'm in the process of designing a folding knife. I like the idea of bushings because of the whole "tighten it all the way" while the blade is still smooth. I also like the idea of having caged stainless steel bearings, or ceramic? But something I've never heard being discussed is: What if I built a knife with a bushing AND bearings? I got a quick reply from Chuck at Alpha Knife Supply and he said that idea sounds mutually exclusive. I thick it would rock. So, what do you guys think? If I had to end up picking one over the other, what should it be? By the way, it's for a flipper. Thanks.

Check out YouTube reviews for the Direware Solo. There is one that breaks the knife down and it uses captured bearings and washers, not sure if it uses a bushing though. I haven't taken mine apart but the blade moves effortlessly on the pivot when the lockbar pressure is removed.
