Knife buying in Japan. Any thoughts?

I'm off to Japan this week. Anyone know of any good knife stores around Tokyo?...or can I basically get the same things, here.

Try Okachimachi, a few stops from Ueno on the subway. But the stuff is priced high and most of it is available stateside.
