I just had this made for me Thanks Dave and Dave. Dave you did a beautiful job on the wood inlay. Thanks Chuck for the great picture. KT

Very nice combination. I really like the way you sculpted the handle in a way that still showed off the curly figure in the Koa. The wood inserts in the sheath are a big plus as well.

In my opinion, David Broadwell makes some of the most beautiful and wonderfully crafted knives in the world. The lines and curves always work magic on my eyes.

I am a broken record about the following - one day I will own a really nice David Broadwell, maybe a subhilt. I love 'em. And it'll be displayed right with the Warenskis.

I doubt there is a knifemaker out there who would take issue with the words in the first paragraph above - any list of the top makers in the world, in my humble opinion, must include David Broadwell.

I agree Bob. His knives are exceptional and his subhilts are amongst my favorites!

Well said, and I quite agree. Congrats to the OP on a terrific piece. We really need to do a "Best Hunter" thread this year.

Very nice. I really like how the carved handle's lines interact with the figure in the wood. I will stare at that handle for some time.

Great knife, sheath and photo.

I always find David's knives to be an exceptional example of art combined with function. The sheath made by Cole complements the knife very nicely as well.
