Knife collection help

Well… I wrote this up so I am going to post it so I don’t have to write it again.

☺️ Hello all,
I am new to this forum. Thanks for having me.
I have always been obsessed with knives of all types but never really did research to know much about the specifics of them.
I inherited my grandfather’s collection quite a few years ago. He died in 1998.
I have recently been looking through them and would like to get them organized and passed down to my boys. Probably will try to sell a few also.
His collection was crazy amounts of variety. From very low end “Made in Pakistan and China” to some very nice knives. I know the rule here is to not ask for a knife’s value and I want to respect that. I will probably pay the fee to post for sale if becomes something I do.
I hope you guys will help me with some information though.
I have a bunch of knives and brands that I know nothing about and have not found much info on.
So… if this is the appropriate spot and it is ok, I have a couple I would like to start with.
Do any of you know the makers of these two knives. I have looked and cannot find anything.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the makers. Sorry. 😟
 
I searched on "Sherman Simi Valley knife maker" and found a 2010 auction on a vintage arms site (not a BF sponsor, so I'm not linking it here) for a dagger with the same mark. You might be able to pursue that line of inquiry for more info.

Well… Shoot… last night the image posting went easy. Today I cannot see the same things on Imgur.
I was going to post another question but I guess I need to figure out the post pictures thing better.

Thanks. That’s the problem. Last night those choices were there, but today, I cannot get to them. Trying to use an old iPhone. Maybe that is the problem.
